Lovely Surprise

I had al ovely surprise today!!My aunt handed my a small little parcel that came all the way from Singapura!

I got all excited wondering who sent it to me!! Then when i looked at the back I saw that it was 水晶who sent it to me. ありがとう crys. thanks for the lovely surprise and card!!

My first bday present!! and an early one too,...knowing that i love japanese shows she sent me one which she says that it is nice and thinks that I will like it too..This is the present that i received all the way from Fine City. well wrapped!!

The card was lovely. Its an embroided card. very nice feel to it. Like the words on it "Always Bee there for you" See the card and the DVD that she bought for me.

Always nice to receive something in the mail from family and friends when u are overseas.

Sex and The City-The Movie

Decided to go to and rent DVDs to watch today. I ended up buying the ex rental DVDs. In fact, there are no scratches and much much cheaper. I bought 2 shows. Sex and the City and Indiana Jone and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. They are in perfect condition like a brand new DVD. So why would you want to buy it brand new for more when u can get it for half the price?

So after watching SATC it is great to knwo that Carrie and Mr Big finally Tie the knot after 10 years. Although it is just a show, it is still good that it is a happy ending for everyone in the show.

SATC states some facts about life. Being in a relationship or marraige, you will not necessarily be happy every second of your life but you will still be happy but there will be unhappiness still which is part of it. Which I agree.

Sometimes, I think I am a bit of both of Carrie and Charlotte. My dear girlfriends which character do you think matches you?

Towards the last part Mr Big said something really touching.
Ever Thine, Ever Yours, Ever Ours.( Hope i remember it correctly)

I wonder when will i meet my own version of Mr Big but minus away taking 10 years to get married to the person after knowing him and the whole on and off relationship in that 10 years.

Is it too much to ask for? i just wonder.

It so reminds me of how life would be like if i really just pack and travel all over the world. The sky is always the limit. But the world has no borders which i always believe. The world is so big and yet She can be really small at times.

To see the world is my biggest dream but I wonder how far and how much will I be able to see in this lifetime? maybe it will take more than a llifetime?

Will do what i can to see the world. The world is a better place if you see it from another perspective or another angle. Taking pictures every now and then to capture what I see is always great to look back.

Saturday night out

Yesterday had dinner with my aunt,uncle,grandma and auntie d. We had vietnamese food which was very good. It is located not very far from Farmer Jack supermarket. We had vietnamese fried rice,claypot seafood,beef soup noodles,chicken soup noodles, vietnamese spring rolls.

After the filling dinner we decided to go to Northbridge for coffee. Upon arriving, to our horror there were lots of people and we could not find a place to park.

We then decided to go to beaufort st and luckily we manage to find a parking space and we had very nice cakes and coffee there. We had tiramisu and a berry cheesecake.Both are light and very addictive. I had mocha which was very much well done,Frankly so far the coffee here in Perth has been nice. Auntie D gave us the treat and I want to thank her again for the lovely dinner and dessert.Thank you Auntie D.It was a very nice evening that we had.

Friday Night out to the CITY

I was out with T on the Friday night after work. It was actually my first time that I am going to the city at night in Perth. I know this must sound very odd but seriously i was looking forward to it that day. It was a wet evening though as it was raining. We decided to go to David Jones first as T needs to check out some foundation for her face. After trying Giorgio Armani and Bobby Brown she has decided on Giorgio armani which i recommended her and after trying she really like it. She bought it.The sales person was very professional and it turns out she is also a make up artist. Very rare we find westerners who are able to advise and do asian makeup and she is an exception. In fact she was very good!!:) I have decided that if I need to do a make up for a special occassion I shall go lok for her to do mine. That day both T and myself looked really good as we had tried on the cosmetic of Giorgio armani. The sales person even gave us soem make up tips and a book that we can get online in teaching you on make up that make u look good!

We then headed off to Target as weather was still crap so got to go to indoor places.I bought socks and undergarments. And there wsa 20% off which was wonderful. For the first time i bought organic undergarments and socks which was on offer. In Signapore Organic clothings are going to cost a lot. So I thought why not i buy it to try. Frankly it is quite comfortable plus it is cheap.

We headed off to Yoshiya a Japanese Resturant for our dinner as it was time for dinner and we decided not to walk anymroe due to the weather and fill our stomach instead. The food was surprisingly good! We ordered tempura prawns and vegetables,stired fried prawns and sushi rolls and had green tea.The sushi was very well done.The rice was in well intact.Good quality food. I love jap food so this is pretty good.

That night we ended up at T's husband office for awhile as she had to pick him up before she can send me home. We ended up at the office building for Bankwest!! on the right you will see the managers of the various department of Bankwest. T 's husband picture is there can you spot him? He is the only asian there. He is on the bottom right hand corner. haha!!i told him this is going to appear on my blog and it did!:)
