ok last weekend has been a busy weekend for me.

In the day went to Peishan place for her housewarming. Minyi, Shi hui and myself was there. Ashpixie was suppose to be there but she said she cant wake up in time as usaul due to some late night activites on friday. P.S place was located at tampines. nice place. Its a mansionette 2 storeys. nice place.told myself i will work hard and buy a plce of my own too...(target 2 years later?) haha..

rushed home after P.S place and went home to get ready for Bel's wedding at Marriot. Was happy to be there as was able to catch up with my supper kakis at CS. We girls we re bust talking and catching up with one another. Jas mama informed that she will be having her kid end of Oct. Looking forward to the birth of Jas Jr. Yoyo could not be with us due to work but she was with us spiritually. the food was good. the best of all was the dessert which were cakes. superb. first time having a western dessert for a wedding. I had the rasberry ivory chesecake which was tasty and it was light.wish there were more to indulge further. we left the place at 11 plus and that sums up my sat. Was out with some friends for lunch and tea on Sunday. nothing fancy.

Went for Swan Lake on Ice

Went for Swan Lake on Ice recently with S.O at the Esplanade Theatre. The skaters are really good.

Here is a synopsis of the story of Swan Lake.

Prince Siegfried arrives at his 21st birthday celebration on the palace courtyards to find all of the royal families and townspeople dancing and celebrating, while the young girls are anxiously seeking his attention. During the exquisite celebration, his mother gives him crossbow and informs him that because he is of age now, his marriage will be quickly arranged. Hit with the sudden realization of his future responsibilities, he takes his crossbow and makes haste to the woods with his hunting buddies.

Getting ahead of the group, Prince Siegfried finds himself a peaceful spot by an enchanted lake where swans gently float across its surface. While Siegfried watches, he spots the most beautiful swan with a crown on its head. His buddies soon catch up, but he orders them to leave so he can be by himself. As dusk falls, the swan with the crown turns into the most beautiful young woman he has ever seen. Her name is Odette, the Swan Queen. She informs the young prince that an evil sorcerer, Von Rothbart, who so happens to be disguised as Prince Siegfried’s mentor, has turned her and the other girls into swans and that the lake was formed by the tears of their parents' weeping. She tells him that the only way the spell could be broken is if a man, pure in heart, pledges his love to her. The Prince, about to confess his love for her, is quickly interrupted by the evil sorcerer. He takes Odette from Prince Siegfried’s embrace and commands all of the swan maidens to dance upon the lake and its shore so that the prince cannot chase them. Prince Siegfried is left all alone on the shore of Swan Lake.

The next day at the formal celebration in the Royal Hall, Prince Siegfried is presented with many prospective princesses. Although the princesses are worthy of his attention, he cannot stop thinking about Odette. His mother commands him to choose a bride, but he cannot. For the mean time, he satisfies his mother's request by at least dancing with them. While the prince is dancing, trumpets announce the arrival of Von Rothbart. He brings his daughter, Odile, on whom he has cast a spell to appear as Odette. The prince is captivated by her beauty as he dances with the imposter. Unbeknownst to Prince Siegfried, the true Odette is watching him from a window. The prince soon confesses his love to Odile, thinking that she is Odette. To Odette’s horror, she flees into the night.

Prince Siegfried sees the real Odette fleeing from the window and realizes his mistake. Upon his realization, Von Rothbart reveals to the prince the true appearance of his daughter Odile. Prince Siegfried quickly leaves the party and chases after Odette.

Odette has fled back to the lake and joined the rest of the girls in sadness. Prince Siegfried arrives and asks forgiveness for his folly. Odette embraces the Prince, and tells him that she will love him forever, although her curse may never be broken. Odile arrives at the lake in search of Prince Siegfried and sees the love he has for Odette, and Odette for the Prince.
Odile listens to their story and understands that her father, Rothbart, has played an evil trick, and refuses to be part of her father’s terrible plan. Odile hands the ring back to Odette. Prince Siegfried now realises that he was stupidly tricked by the evil Rothbart and his own faint heart.
Arrogantly, Rothbart challenges Prince Siegfried to a duel, telling the Prince that if he has the courage to kill him, he may release Odette from her curse.
This show of true love by Prince Siegfried and the death of Rothbart, release Odette from her curse, so that she can live in human form with her beloved Prince.

long awaited blog

Ok I know its been a long time since I blogged. what have I been doing which all of you have been wondering. Well have seen some shows and meeting up with friends. Been going for my Hot Yoga at Kreta AYer St, its has been a very good experience. Been doing it for a month. now my one mth has expired will take on it again later on as having something on.

Shows I've seen so far, Secret by Jay - of course not the super fantastic but then i like the props etc used for the movie. Love the piano pieces in the show. some ofthe piano pieces I like are Lu Xiao Yu, Secret, Fu yu Zi,Angel,The swan, Of course I like the song Unspeakable secret ( bu neng shuo de mi mi ).

Other shows that I've seen are Evan Almighty and The Bourne Ultimatum. Not the super fantastic shows though.

Then there was my aunt's 60th birthday so we had function room booked at my 3rd auntie's place and some played mahjong since afternoon and there is karaoke. I played twister and badminton with my cousin and had a swim in the evening. We cousins sang later on as its our turn. didn't realise that i have 2 other cousins who can sing very well other then EUg. We made a pact to go on a cousin Karaoke session after their exams and they cant wait cos i think they will be hitting hard on me and Eug's wallet for that session ;(

Lots of concert and show going on. Thinking if i should go for David Copperfield. Then Sammi is coming to town. Fish Leong is coming too end of Dec, there is Ah mei coming in nov. Fish Leong's live concert is good she can sing for those who is thinking of going for her concert can consider going as I've been to hers before and she can sing really well for live. Can get the cheaper tix as more of hearing her sing live.

Swan lake is coming and I am actually thinking of going for that one. Checking out the tix today for tomorrow's night show.Will be going with my uni friend S.O.
