Da Cang Jing and Movies

Da Cang Jing - A very hot korean series which has the number 1 viewership in HK and in Taiwan. Heard that it was very good. When I was in Hk just so happen that the last epi was shown and the whole country seems to be in a stand still during the time slot when the last epi was showing. At Times Sq, during the epi many ppl gather there to watch the show on the big screen. It was incredible that people will catch the show and later on then go and have the dinner or do their shopping etc... looking at the pics that I just got from my friends a lot of ppl just gather there. I will catch it when I have the dvd.

Movies That I have seen recently was the interpreter by Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn. It was pretty good as the plot was good and nicole and sean really bring the characters out of the story well. House of Fury or in Chinese is Jing Wu Jia Ting. by Daniel Wu, Twins and Feng De Lun. Not a bad show. Daniel Wu is damn good looking inside!!;p The one watched recently was Divergence in chinese its 三岔口 again its a show by Daniel Wu hehe;p also by Aaron Kwok, Ekin Cheng and also luo jia liang. I think its a good show. Very different from the normal hk movies. If you like infernal affairs then this one will be pretty good as well.

I will be catching Stars Wars Epi III next week I hope. The final chapter to link the missing puzzle to the rest of epis of Star Wars. It was said to be pretty good. I have friends who are going to watch the 2nd time.Oh my god!! So I must see it in order to know why they can catch one more time. Till then I can't comment much on the show.

HK - continued

2 May 05 Monday. Went to the Wong Da Sin temple. It is said to be very " Ling". Oh well so prayed for my career and asked for directions haha!! i am lost!! on what i should do.;p

I prayed for something else which i wont say haha!! there were a lot of tourists there as well as ppl from china and korea. there was a place where u can go in and take some nice pictures.you can see the surroundings of the place which is mainly housing area.

we took the train to Kowloon tong MTR station where we have to change to the KCR to go to new territories which I am meeting my friend at Sha Tin for tim sum. upon reaching there we went to shop awhile while waiting for my friends. bought some clothings for my mum at veeko. which i think was a good buy. had tim sum at a resturant where we had curry fishballs, fried carrot cake etc... then we went to the museum to take a look which is at sha tin but we did not go in to check out the things inside. then went to a place where there are 10,000 buddhas along the walkway up to the place where u can see the pagoda which you can climb up. it was not an easy feat to walk up as it was up slope with a lot of stairs. had soya beancurd up at the area before we walk back down. we passed by a small village called pai tau village.

brought HL to the LUM CHUN which is where the wishing tree was. but then due to an incident where the branch has fallen it has been blocked up and u cant go near to the tree and throw the orange with the incense paper for your wish and u can only do it by hanging it on the surrounding rails. off we went to Sai Kung which took us a while as the traffic was horrendous and finding a carpark was not easy.took a while before someone left and we got a place to park.
It was my first time there and there to the seafood street where you can see a lot of seafood and the resturant which will cook the seafood that you have chosen. we had it at the resturant which is the famous one where alot of the HK stars had their seafood. That area is also where the Gu Wah Zai was filmed. we had prawns, carbs, rice , soup , scallop and vegetables for dinner. It was a wonderful dinner. then we took the small bus " siu ba" ( in canto) from Sai Kung all the way to Kwun tong where I am suppose to meet my friend to pass something to her and there we did a bit of shopping again...then we felt tired and had some drinks and dessert.

3 MAy, its our shopping day. went to the Hua Yuan Jie at Mong Kok. We started our shopping from there. Bought a lot of things along the way and HL was saying the things are cheap. Then we went into a shopping mall called New century shopping mall. we had our japanese lunch there which was rather cheap as it was a set meal and there we continued shopping in the mall where i bought some clothings and jeans. brougt my friend to a place something like far east plaza where they have a lot of small shops. due to time constraint we were not able to go to the new shopping mall which was 12 storeys high. I must go there when i do go over to HK again.
Brought my friend to the Xing Guang Da Dao at Tsim Sha Tsui. There you have a good view of Hk Island as well as along the pathway you will see the hand prints of the famous stars in HK.
But there were a lot of china tourists there which is super xian as they really act like country pumpkins getting all so excited when they see hand prints of andy lau etc..they tend to push to get to the place they want to go and the same goes for the koreans..saw a group of koreans and they also like to push. is it that hard to say the word excuse me??? How rude!! hmmmp..
oh yes my friend saw the giordano shop which sells the polo shirt she needs to exchange for her dad as the one she bought earlier was dirty which she did not see it when she bought it. I ended up buying 2 of the same polo t-shirts for my dad as it has pocket at the top left hand side. luckily I happen to see it and we do not have to purposely go to causeway bay to exchange it. My arms are aching from carrying the shopping stuffs. I am dead tired. Need to go back and put the shopping bags, take a shower and out to meet Mil for dinner which is just a few MTR stops away. we had thai food for dinner. and one of her friend brought a bottle of red wine so we had wine to go with the food. the red wine was not bad a french one.

the food was was good and the desserts was good but too much. different kinds of desserts which was complimentary from the resturant as my friend's friend gary knows the manager there. After dinner we went to lan kwai fong for drinks. as HL has not been there before so why not bring her around to check out the night spots there. we ended at a pub and drank a little.we were there till 12 plus/1am before we took a cab back to the hotel.

4 May, last day in hk and also the day to fly back home Last day for shopping. We need to get a bag for the hand carry which we found it and went back to the hotel and pack it all in and I need to go off and meet my friend to return her the G2000 card where i met her for coffee and breakfast as I have not had mine. then i rushed off to meet my friend HL who had to do her packing as she did not follow me to meet my friend. then met up with sammy for lunch at APM since she is working around that area. i finally bought a bag for work as my bag was spoilt after using it for such a long time. This bag is not cheap but who cares it can last me for the next few yrs i hope. Its a patrick cox brand from london. I bought some food as well to bring home and also i bought the H2O supplies back as it was cheaper over there hehe...That was the sum up of the trip. Very tired by the time I was on the plane i did not want to have dinner just water and I slept on the plane. by the time I was home it was already 12 midnight. had my shower and I went to bed. got to work the next day argghh...

there should be some other urban pics coming along which I will be getting frm my friend before I can post it up.

so stay tuned..
